How can i get better at skateboarding.?

I feel for ya. I live in Florida and live about an hour away from the closest indoor skatepark but never go. I skate street mostly flatground. I can ollie,shuv-it and am working on kickflip. Skate whats around you. I only have ledges to skate and ive learned to deal. Inless you wanna be a vert skater, skate street. Its fun with friends and playing skate. If you can only skate half the year then youve been skating for 1.5 years that will make you sound better just trying to help you out. If flatground bores you then build some ramps or buy a kicker.
