The Visiontek Radeon X1550 Video Card 512mb AGP Card good for todays gaming?

As far as AGP goes, then yes it is good, without having to replace your whole computer. If you have the processor and RAM for the game, then this video card should work just fine. Yes, PCI-E is the newest and fastest way, however you can still be viable with AGP if your parts are up to snuff. This is really about as good as a card gets for AGP, so if you are to stick with AGP, then this is top-knotch. Eventually some of the newer games are going to best what you can do with AGP, but for now if you have higher-end AGP then you should be good to go.
