What are my rights as a single teenage mother?

im only 15 and i have a daughter that will turn a year in september.im from tx & my babys dad lives in illinois. i moved down when i was 1 month pregnant. my parents didnt wanna leave me behind due to the fact that i was underage and my babys dad mom didnt believe it was her granddaughter.hes never seen my daughter till this day and has only sent me 200 dollars since she was born and that was only because i asked him for the money.the reason i asked for money is because my mom lost her job & im nowhere near getting one due to my age. i have asked for child support but till this day i have not received anything because im still waiting for the court day. my relationship with my babys dad is really bad that at one point he was haring me to take him back.he threathned to kill himself if i didnt get back with him. since then ive tried not to have any communication with him unless its about my baby but he always finds a way to start harrasing me again.ive been told that he has no rights as a father because he is not on the birth certificate and we are yet to receive any word on the child support court day for the paternity test. is this true that he has no rights? & what can i do so that i dont deny him anything but dont get hared?
