Question on the subject of Window Tinting?

It all depends on where you live and the laws in your state. Where I live the legal limit is a 35% on the front two doors and a 20% on the rear doors/quarter windows/rear window. The higher the percentage, the lighter the tint basically. As for security, 20% is enough to deter thieves as long as the sun is not facing your windshield in which case you can see right through the tint. It is also easier to see in a vehicle when the front two doors are lighter than the rest! (Lets in more light) As for the topic of cops messing with you, like I said in the beginning....it all depends on your state laws (and it also gives a reason for you to get pulled over) there is usually always a tint shop that will do the darker tint, money talks and the darker you want , the pricier it should get....If I were you I would look for around a 20% all the way around, (except for the windshield of course, unless you want it and find someone who will do it!)
