Could you make a lawsuit on this?

Ok. Recently a student and teacher had a conflict. I'm that student. Here's my case. The teacher calls the role and I raise my hand apparently I did it in a flamboyant way. He and another student are standing side by side and the teacher asked me to raise ky hand again and so I did the he looks at the student and. Smirks and the student said yeah hes gay or whatrevre and the teacher just laughed and carried on and this happened in front my whole cl. My parents are furious and have already done what they can at the school but my dad wants to get him fired. Coupd we Sue for this?
