i do not have hiv, but i can tell you symptoms. half of all people who are hiv positive experience flu-like symptoms soon after exposure. then on average (in america) 11 years later the immune system is damaged enough to begin allowing oportunistic infections (onset of AIDS). but there is no way to tell if you are infected with hiv without taking an hiv test. if you think you could have been exposed go to an annonymous or confidential testing site and be tested! to find a place look in a phonebook for an hiv hotline, call and ask. you could also go to a reproductive health clinic like planned parenthood.
