Were these two biker townies condescending to me?

If they were , it was something wrong with them , not something wrong with you, so I would have just ignored them and continued to have a good time. Letting them know that got to you , was what they intended. If they don't like the college students they should be going to a bar in town, not at the college. There is sometimes a sort of rivalry between the college folk and the townies. It mostly comes from never having had the income or family finances to afford going to college, and having to have settled for no end jobs, where you work your *** off , and get little respect in return. Even though it's not your fault, it all comes down to envy. They look at you as one of the folks handed a silver spoon, and they are eating off a mixed set of dishes , because they can't afford the luxury of matching dishes, because they can barely afford to buy the groceries or pay the bills. Not all folks are fortunate enough to attend college, and have high paying jobs. Consider yourself priviledged and ignore them, cause I'm sure they've swallow a bucket full of pride in their lifetime.
