Who do you agree with?

This male friend mine,tells me he loves me for years,but big flirt,so I say stop that and I will have relationship.I know also that he has the attention of this fab looking girl who is all over him and they flirt,so I am not sure if he wants her or not.We are all going to a social do and I have kept my distance from him for a while.He finds out that I am not going and keeps asking me why etc and if I am,even on the day.In the end I relent and go.He gives her very little attention,is keen to talk to me,I catch him looking at me and he holds gaze,but I play it cool.At the end of the night he wants to leave with me bt I want to go to a party at the other girls house.We go and on the way she mocks him about the way he used to come on to her.At the party he is all over me,follows me outside,still wants to leave with me.We hire a taxi,he hugs the girl and says 'you know I love ya' her in front of me,then in taxi is silent then tells me he wants me and has always done.I do nothing
